KinderGym Class Descriptions
Our KinderGym programs are all about fundamental movement! Our KinderGym curriculum has been specifically designed to give children the opportunity to practice, develop and enjoy movement. Children in this program undertake a wide-range of activities designed to help them develop physically, socially and cognitively.

PlayGym
PlayGym is a play based session where children 15mths-5yrs can have a play on the gymnastics equipment. We set up a range of activities that encourages running, jumping, balancing, swinging and climbing. This is an unstructured class so suits families with multiple children and children of all abilities as children participate at their own pace. |

ASD PlayGym
ASD PlayGym sessions are specifically for 2-5 year old children with autism. We understand finding a class that is welcoming and suitable for a child with autism can sometimes be difficult, however that doesn't mean children and their families should miss out. ASD PlayGym sessions are all about children having fun and exploring a range of gross motor skills at their own pace. Each session a qualified KinderGym Coach will set up a variety of activities using the gymnastics equipment. Children can then freely explore the activities, with lots of opportunities to balance, roll, jump, swing, hang and climb! To make these sessions ASD friendly we have included a number of modifications;

ASD PlayGym Class Information: Ages: 2 to 5 years old with autism Class Length: 45 minutes Attendance: Casual - Bookings are essential (phone or email) Cost: $15 per class Class Timetable: ASD PlayGym is currently not running weekly, this class is occasionally offered as a casual class during school holidays. KinderGym 2.5+yrs
KinderGym 2.5+ yrs is a 45 minute structured class which provides a special opportunity for children and their parents/caregivers to play and learn together. The class includes music, group activities and a structured circuit on the gymnastics apparatus to develop fundamental movement and gymnastics specific skills in a fun, positive and encouraging environment. Below is an example of a typical KinderGym 2.5yrs+ class. |

KinderGym 4-5yrs (Attending School in 2025)
KinderGym 4-5 yrs is an educational gymnastics program for children ready for greater independence (attending school in 2025). Children practice a range of gross motor skills and gymnastic fundamentals while also developing skills such as listening, following instructions, teamwork and interacting positively with coaches and other participants. Children will participate in 3 mini circuits per class. Below is a video of a typical KinderGym 4-5yrs class. |
